Cricket Format Explained
Before placing bets, it is important to understand the different cricket formats, as markets and strategies vary for each one.
🏏 T20
20 overs per team, total match time around 3 to 3.5 hours. Betting markets: match winner, total runs, top scorer, over of first wicket. In-play betting is most popular due to the fast pace. BPL and IPL are played in this format.
🏏 ODI (One-Day)
50 overs per team, a match lasting around 7 to 8 hours. The ICC Cricket World Cup is held in this format. Common betting markets include team total runs, centuries and who will take 5 wickets.
🏏 Test
A 5-day match with two innings per team. The oldest and most respected format in cricket. Betting markets include whether the match will be drawn, session winners each day and innings total runs.
🏏 The Hundred

How to Read Odds
Understanding odds is the most important skill in betting. vipaka supports three types of odds formats.
Decimal
The simplest format. Odds of 1.80 means a ৳500 bet returns a total of ৳900 (profit of ৳400).
Formula: Stake × Odds = Total Return.
Fractional
The English method. 4/5 means a profit of ৳4 for every ৳5 staked. Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5.
American
Minus (-) indicates the favourite, plus (+) indicates the underdog. -125 means a ৳125 bet wins ৳100 profit.
Implied Probability: Odds of 1.80 imply roughly a 56% chance of winning (1 ÷ 1.80 × 100). The lower the odds, the more likely the market considers a win.

Teen Patti

Andar Bahar

Callbreak

Ludo / Rummy
